Who are The Doofuzz Dudes?
They’re a group of Australian children who have fantastic, magical
adventures in the genre of Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings.
Brothers Toby and Huon Doofuzz and
two friends form the Doofuzz Dudes Club and discover another world in a whole
other dimension during a birthday treasure hunt. Their lives will never be the
same again as they do battle with the evil Dreezles, outwit the aggressive Guard
Geese and make their way through a forest of biting trees to rescue the city of
Moondar for its tiny inhabitants.
What makes the Doofuzz Dudes books different?
While exciting and absorbing for young readers from tweens to teens they cleverly carry important messages
about the environment without preaching. What’s more they are proving popular with adults too
who enjoy reading them to children too young to read for themselves. Dive into
this fun world of fantasy, magic and spells!

The Doofuzz
Dudes Rescue Moondar Toby opened
the first page of the book and read out loud, “A thousand years ago when
the Moondarians lived in the city of Moondar...”
No sooner had he uttered the mystical words than a little man dressed in
a
green and gold tunic jumped out of the pages and somersaulted onto the
floor.
“What?” Toby cried out, dropping the book.
What unearthly power had he unleashed?

The Doofuzz Dudes and the
Princess Detector Toby
rubbed his sleepy eyes. Through the heavy mist he could make out forests far
below them, teaming with dinosaurs and dragons. Still they sped on, across
several oceans - one red, one orange and another yellow. He caught glimpses of
huge sea creatures he'd never seen before and brightly coloured fish with polka
dot wings, flying and playing over the waves.
The sky was full of Hawthorks - some transporting passengers, while others had
hot ovens mounted on their saddles. Goblins on board were selling food to fellow
travellers.

The Doofuzz Dudes
and The Babbling Bottles
Toby peered anxiously up into the night
sky. Hovering directly above them was Gorian, the Dorik. The leathery
beast’s claws were fitted with razor sharp metal talons, and a pointed
silver device was fitted over its cruel beak just like a bayonet. A
sneering Prince Florian appeared supremely confident as he sat in the
studded black leather saddle. He looked as if evil dripped out of every
pore. As usual, he was wearing his black metal mesh cloak and his jet
black hair shimmered with oil.

The Cobra Curse Firmly fastened
in, with bated breath, they waited as the machine continued to hum and
shake. Then the machine started to shudder.
“It's moving!” yelled Toby.
Huon looked puzzled. “It doesn't feel like a plane, does it?
A second later, Toby heard a loud grinding sound. The machine began to
shake so much he could feel his teeth clunking in his head. He felt as
if his brain was wobbling around too.
“Marshes of Mars!” yelled Tom. His green hair was standing on end. “I
think we’re going under the ground.”
